GRD® Announces Revolutionary DEIMOS: The Dual Barrel Delivery System

GRD® [GURA® Research & Development] unveils the DEIMOS, a state-of-the-art dual barrel delivery system meticulously engineered to meet the demanding mission specifications of GRD® personnel, both on Earth and in extraterrestrial environments.

The DEIMOS features a cutting-edge chrome-lined hybrid barrel with semi-rifling, offering unparalleled versatility across a diverse array of payloads. This innovative system is capable of deploying special ammunition types, including tracking stingers, miniaturized explosive warheads, smart bullets, and electronic warfare systems, thereby ensuring mission success in a multitude of scenarios.

To further enhance operational efficiency, GRD® has developed an extensive suite of proprietary hardware. This includes customizable stock configurations, barrel lengths, optics, and payloads, all designed to optimize the DEIMOS for the specific needs of its operator.

By leveraging the latest injection molding techniques and achieving breakthroughs in additive manufacturing and meta-material development, GRD® has created one of the lightest full-length small arms available today. The use of specially designed super alloys has resulted in a remarkable 37% weight reduction compared to competitor models, significantly lightening the load for operators. Internal close-quarter combat testing has demonstrated a 7.8% increase in target acquisition speed, benefitting both human and non-human operators alike.

Following 18 months of rigorous in-field testing, the DEIMOS has proven its capabilities and reliability. It is now poised for deployment across all GRD® locations and Forward Operating Bases (FOBs), both terrestrial and off-world.
