I Am Mother — Robot Design for Netflix (2019)

Hard-surface concept, CAD modeling, and production visualization for Netflix's sci-fi thriller.

I was provided with a 3D scan of Luke Hawker to build the physical suit around. The wire patterns in the thermal padding, the belly section structures to hide the actor, all built to accommodate real performance.

The contrast between our two directions made the Mother vs Military droid distinction wonderful on screen.
